Modify a saved search in Inspect
You can modify the name and search criteria of a saved search. You can reorganize saved searches by moving them within the search folder hierarchy. Additionally, you can modify a search folder by changing its name or moving it within the search folder hierarchy.
Perform the following procedure to modify a saved search.

In the Main Menu, select Analyze>Inspect and then Saved Search.

In the Saved Search pane, do the following steps.

To edit the name of a saved search, do the following steps.

Hover over the saved search name and click
.

In the Edit Saved Search dialog box, do the following steps.

In Search Name, modify the name.

Click Save.

To edit the search criteria of a saved search, do the following steps.

Hover over the saved search name and click Edit.

The search criteria appear in the Search Builder, where you can edit them.

To edit a search folder, perform the following steps.

Hover over the search folder name and click
.

In the Edit Search Folder dialog box, do the following steps.

Make any of the following updates.

Update the search folder name in Folder Name.

To move a subfolder out of a parent folder and make it top level, uncheck Create a Subfolder.

To move a subfolder from one parent folder to another, select a different parent folder in Create a Subfolder.

To make a folder a subfolder, select Create a Subfolder (
) and select the parent folder.

Click Save.

To move a saved search into a search folder, drag and drop it.

To move a saved search into a search folder, hover over the saved search name, click
, and drag and drop it into the desired search folder.

To move a saved search out of a search folder and make it top-level, hover over the saved search name, click
, drag it out, and drop it when the
icon appears.

You can also nest a saved search under subfolders within a search folder.

To move a search folder within the search folder hierarchy, drag and drop it.

To move a search folder into another search folder, hover over the folder name, click
, and drag and drop it into the desired search folder.

To move a search folder out of the parent folder and make it a top-level folder, hover over the folder name, click
, drag it out, and drop it when the
icon appears.
