Modify a folder in Inspect

You can modify a folder by changing the folder name or moving it in the folder hierarchy. When modifying a top-level folder, you can restrict the folder access to one or more user groups. Refer to About folders in Inspect for more information.

Perform the following procedure to modify a folder.

1. In the Main Menu, select Analyze>Inspect.
2. Click Folders.
3. To view the folder hierarchy, click to open a folder. To close a folder, click .
4. Hover on the folder and click .
5. In the Folder Setting dialog box, do the following steps.
   1. Make any of the following updates.   
      • Change the folder name.
      • To move a subfolder to a folder level in the hierarchy, uncheck Create as a Subfolder.
      • To move a subfolder from one parent folder to another, select a different parent folder in Create as a Subfolder.
      • To make a folder a subfolder, select Create as a Subfolder () and select the parent folder.
      • When modifying a top-level folder, in Permissions, you can change the folder permissions.

        • To remove restrictions, select No Restrictions.

        • To limit folder access to a user group, select that group.

        • To select more groups if available, click Add Group and select a group from the field that appears.

   2. Click Save.
