About promoting documents

You can promote documents from a filter job to the review phase for further examination.

• If you have enabled Near Dupe & Threading in Project Settings, then the Promote action triggers two jobs: a Promotion job and then a Near Dupe and Threading (NDT) job. Documents are promoted to Review after the promotion job completes, even if the NDT job is still running. The Thread ID and Thread Inclusive fields depend on the NDT job completion.

• If you have disabled Near Dupe & Threading in Project Settings, then the Promote action triggers only one job: Promotion.
