Personal information identification

If PII/PHI detection is enabled when you promote documents, Epiq Discover detects PII/PHI in the documents and populates the fields in the following table.

Field names	Description
PII Entities Potential	If the PII/PHI is detected with a confidence score that is below the confidence level cap, the system displays the information types like Name, Address, and Social Security Number in this field. This field is used as reference and a reviewer can confirm whether this information is PII/PHI or not.
PII Entities Likely	If the PII/PHI is detected with a confidence score that is at or above the confidence level cap, the system displays the information types like Name, Address, and Social Security Number in this field.
PII Entity Tags	If the PII/PHI is detected with a confidence score that is at or above the confidence level cap, this field is automatically populated. You can code documents using this default coding field in the coding forms.
